Background

If user want to add Variable of Failure class to Valve, and want same to be reflected in Isometric, then this Wiki can be helpful

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Start Bentley Class Editor
  2. Open OpenPlant_3D.01.08.ecschema.xml schema
  3. Link a reference file BentleyBase.01.00.ecschema.xml
  4. Supplement 
    1. OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.08.ecschema.xml & 
    2. OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_ModelingViews.01.08.ecschema.xml 
      Reference 08.11.ecschema.xmlSchema
    1. Search for Valve





    2. Copy Design_State and Paste



    3. Make changes in Name and display label and Add Custom attribute



    4. Make changes in Name and display label and Add Custom attribute




    5. Select Property Display Status and change its Location




    6. Save the changes
    7. Go to Styles Diaolgue box and add New label



    8. Relaunch Open Plant Modeler and Add Value in Valve Tab in Properties
    9. Select the Valve and right click over it and say Modify Component



    10. Failure Connection Property can be found in Gate Valve Dialogue box, add value and Do Apply Button
    11. Generate ISO
