Background
In this wiki article, shows how to publish iModel in BRCM
Steps to Accomplish
- Launch BRCM and open the DGN you want to publish.
- Clck on the File Tab
- Click on Publish iModel
- The Publish iModelss dialog will appear, click on Publish.
This is used to convert a design file into an .i.dgn file. All design files that can be opened in Bentley Raceway and Cable Management can be converted into an iModel. Also used to combine (package) the set of published .i.dgn files and its references into a single, protected file. Publishes the master file, each of its displayed references, resulting in a corresponding .i.dgn file for each.
- Check the iDGN location in your folder
Note:
There are three types of i-models you can create:
- A published i-model (.DGN.I.DGN), which is a new file created from a single CAD file
- A packaged i-model (.I.DGN), which is multiple published i-models combined into a single file
- A mobile i-model (.IMODEL), the newest i-model format, which is at least one packaged i-model combined with other supporting documents into a single file, which can then be viewed in the Navigator Mobile app
