Overview

OpenPlant Isometrics Manager generates an Error [5] Unable to locate addon (ID=0) to component

<h1=2>Problem Description

Addon Errors displayed while generating isometrics through In-session of OpenPlant Modeler or while using Managed Environment or through generating i-model to it. Below obvious reasons explained to gain some knowledge to handle such situation or to take necessary action on it.

While generating isometrics, addon errors are general concern which could appear due to modeling supports, notes or other components not placed properly or in some cases it also happens due to isometric generation process.           

Steps to Resolve

Case #1 - Error [5] Unable to locate addon (ID=0) to component

1. Check Production Log.
2. Check Intermediate file which is an l00 file. User can do a right click on error message and get the intermediate file. 
3. Save both files. 
4. Create a Service Request for the same for assessment of it. 
5. You may receive a possible workaround on this or it might turn out to be a valid Defect item. Which should get resolved in next version
