Background

Advance Steel model in dwg file is not compatible with Drawing Flattener. The steel objects are not readable and appear as simple lines even Object Enabler is downloaded. However, the model can be flattened by making it into PDF file first.

Steps to Accomplish

1. The model or drawing should be plotted or exported as PDF.
2. Create a new drawing. Run the PDFIMPORT command to import the PDF.
3. Select the following options.

4. A message will appear then select to import the PDF file as AutoCAD geometry.
5. This will be the result.
