Overview

When running an iModel Import, Review Differences dialog allows user to review differences between incoming equipment from the iModel created from OpenPlant Modeler and equipment that might be already placed in the Bentley Raceway and Cable Management equipment file. Furthermore, this allows user to decide to accept or reject differences found.

Problem Description

In a DGN with multiple references, the Review Differences dialog not show up in the iModel Import workflow. The process bar (see image below) suddenly closes on its own and the Message Center shows BRCM operating completed.

Steps to Resolve

1. Open the Equipment file in BRCM

2. Open References dialog

3. Select all References (Select one reference and press Ctrl+A)

4. Display all

5. Close References dialog

6. Try iModel Import workflow again

Note:

• For References that have Live Nesting Setting, user should make sure that all references are displayed. This will require user to select all references and display everything again (repeating steps 3 - 4)
• Other References which have significant amount of Nested References may cause BRCM to crash once user have attempted to display everything. It's recommended to detach them prior to Displaying all references
