Problem Description

While loading OpenPlant_PID schema or supplement the schema, class editor asks to locate a missing reference file and shows below file open dialog:

Basically when any project/workspace schema is loaded in class editor it references in various schemas but when the location of reference schema is not found then it shows the above dialog.

Steps to Resolve

You need to add the location of these schemas in class editor once and it will automatically reference in the schemas from the next time and won't ask for the location. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

  1. Launch Bentley Class Editor
  2. Go to Tools>Options, a dialog will open

  3. Click on Add button and browse to the below paths:

    WorkSpace Schema:
    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\OpenPlantExample\Standards\OpenPlant\Schemas

Note: In Connect Edition the OpenPlant Modeler & OpenPlant PID missing reference schema present in one location.

  4. Once the paths are added, click Apply button and close the dialog. Now when you load the schemas, the schema files will get referenced in automatically.
