Overview

For isometrics having continuation label, the label shows as "0:" which is inconsistent to what is set in the Style Configuration. By default, the connection label should display as "Cont. to:

Problem Description

The Continuation Label shows inconsistency with what is set in the Style Configuration. This is true when using Isometric Break Point or Manually assigning piping components to isos through Pipeline Manager.

Below steps is the workaround for this issue.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Launch Class Editor

  2. Open OpenPlant_3D.01.08.ecschema.xml and supplement it with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.08.ecschema.xml.
  3. Go to the ISO_SHEET Class
  4. In the Continuation Expression Custom Attribute, modify the Expression to be:

    "Cont. to:$"& this.ISO_DRAWING

  5. Save all schemas
  6. Launch OPM
  7. Open a DGN associated to the same workset the schema belongs to.
  8. Generate an isometric of a pipeline

  9. Open the Style Editor

  10. Remove the value in the Isometric Drawing Connection Label then Save.

  11. Close OPM and relaunch. Generate the isometric to see the Connection Label.

Note: There are instances that user may encounter the issue when generating the isometric:
