Problem Description

The user is creating an isometric drawing where cut-id details are specified. The user has set a limit of 10 lines for each drawing. If there are more cut-ids than this limit, they are displayed on an additional, blank isometric sheet that only shows the remaining information.

The requirement is to generate a single isometric sheet that displays all the cut-ids.

If a column is specified in the isometric style, it should be displayed under that column, continuing on the same isometric sheet.

This article explains how to achieve this.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Go to Report.def file which is present in the particular iso style under the workset.

  2. Open the report.def file in notepad and navigate to CUT Report.

  3. Do necessary changes as shown in the image below.

Note: MAX-ROWS:Sets the maximum number of rows available for a (main) report in a page/column. The statement is optional and defaults to zero. A zero means an unlimited number of rows.
In this example it is 10.

MAX-COLS: Sets the maximum number of columns for the report in the isometric sheet. If more columns are needed the report flows over to the next isometric sheet. The statement is optional and defaults to 1.In this example it is 2

COLUMNOFFSET: Sets the offset to use for multi-column reports In this case it is 85.

  4. Save the changes and re-generate the iso. This time observed that only one iso sheet created

  5. Open the isometric and verify the result.
