Background

There is a scenario where pipe is the only component showing in continuation. In addition, there are several components that must be visible in generated isometrics. The goal is to regulate or control the number of continuing components.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Generate isometrics of the given piping model.
  2. In isometrics configuration box, select Launch Project Configuration.
  3. Locate Isometric Continuity Options. Change the value of last continuing components to BLIND_FLANGE. The chosen value is the last component in the model and serves as the limit.
For max iso continuing components, the numerical value stands for the arrangement order. For instance, Weld Neck Flange B is at number 6. Hence, the continuation will be up to Weld Neck Flange B in generated isometrics.

  4. Another example, set the max iso continuing components value to 9. The result of continuation will be up to Blind Flange in generated isometrics.

  5. Repeat the process by changing the numerical value to regulate the appearance of continuing components.
