Background

Ascending order is the default arrangement of Part IDs in Bill of Materials. The components are segregated according to the configuration in report.def file. However, there are times that Part IDs should appear in descending order based on the requirement.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open the report.def file. Proceed to SHOP and FIELD Report.
  2. Apply the following values in SORT.

  3. Exchange the position of shp and fld in Combi Report.
  4. Save the changes in report.def file.
  5. Generate isometrics to verify the result.
