Overview

Overrides allows user to change the settings of the isometric components such as symbology (line color, line weight, and so on). The Overrides applied for the CT_Elbow component does not follow the override settings added. It remains to be in the default symbology.

Problem Description

CT_Elbow is composed of multiple geometry such as lines and an arc. The overrides may not apply. This wiki will give the instructions on how to resolve this issue.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Generate the isometric of the pipeline that includes the elbow component

  2. Open the isometric and open Component Tag Data of the elbow component

  3. Check which symbol it uses
  4. Open Cell Library

  5. Attach lisocomp.cel

  6. Look for the Symbol name associated to the elbow component. Right click the symbol and Open for Editing.

  7. Once the cell is opened, select the cell and enter the key-in "drop element". Left click to accept.

  8. Save

  9. Close OPIM and generate the isosheet again
