Overview

In PlantSight, while transferring the Data to iTwin via Connector, the import failes due to following reason.

Problem Description

In PlantSight, user might encountered a problem when importing an xlsx file to transfer data to iTwin using a connector. During the operation of the connector, the import failed, displaying an error indicating that the briefcases against the component have been locked. Here are the detailed steps to fix the issue:

Steps to Resolve

  1. While importing if the status indicates as failure, share the Execution-Id with Bentley.
Note: Click on Copy Id from above image and share with Bentley Support Team

  2. The Bentley Global Technical Support team will examine the logs corresponding to this id.In this case Execution Id navigates to locks Present in Briefcase-Id.

  3. The primary issue is often related to Briefcase locks.

  4. Releasing the locks against specific id usually resolves the problem.

  5. After unlocking, attempt to import the file again, which should now be successful.

Cautionary Notes-When importing the file, ensure not to run multiple connectors at a time. And don’t perform aggregation if any connector is in progress Wait for the connectors to run successfully before performing the aggregation.
