Applies To
Product(s):OpenPlant Modeler
Version(s):CONNECT Edition Update 11 (10.XX.XX.XXX)
Environment:Windows 10 (64 bit)
Area:Customization
Subarea:Property

Background

In OpenPlant Modeler, there is a situation where one of the component properties has no value or missing. In addition, the property is grayed out and unable to put a value manually. For instance, Insulation Material doesn’t have a value and unable to type anything. However, it is possible to gain a value by using the Details button or command.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Launch OpenPlant Modeler and select the appropriate piping model or DGN in the Workspace and Workset.
  2. Select any piping component (For example: Pipe) then choose Details located at the Primary section.
  3. Look for Insulation Material and click the drop-down button. Select the preferred material of the pipe (For example: Styro-foam).
Note: In case there is no drop-down button, the value can be typed manually.
  4. Close the Details window and verify the result in the Properties of the pipe.
