CE OPM How to snap to centre of other pipe when there is elevation difference

Background

In OpenPlant when pipe are at different elevation and snapping is to be done at centre, to do that this article can be helpful

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Start OPM and open .dgn with Pipe/ elements
  2. Select rotate handler of Fitting ( Elbow in this case)



  3. Snap to other pipe, it may not get snapped correctly
  4. Grab on Rotate handler and click on Active Locks in ribbon below modeling window and Activated ACS Plane snap lock



  5. Now snap to other pipe center
  6. Do deactivate ACS Plane Snap lock again and continue for placing new element
  7. Refer Video
