In OpenPlant Modeler when the connectivity checker shows completely different X, Y, Z values for the joint location, to resolve same, this article can be useful.
When connectivity checker run against certain pipe joints it gives the error "Related joint type found but components are physically disconnected". The joint shows as connected, the weld is present. When check the X, Y, Z co-ordinates of the joint it shows correctly in the properties pane, but the connectivity checker shows completely different X, Y, Z values for the joint location.
1. Go to the Settings> File> Design File settings> Working unit
2. Verify the Master Unit and Sub Unit. If Master unit and Sub unit both set to Feet in Imperial workset then it seems to be the cause of the connectivity checker error.
3. Set Master unit to Feet and Sub unit to Inches. Master unit the largest unit in common use in the model and Sub unit is the smallest convenient unit to use in the model.
4. If the Master Unit is Meters then the Sub Unit might be Centimeters, or Millimeters in Metric workset.
4. Now save the changes and run the connectivity checker, you will notice connectivity checker operates normally without any error.
