  • Hello Arman,

Your post contains to little information for me to venture a guess.  Usually an inactive OK button on the Generate Node Type dialog indicates that some required input is missing.

    Here is a checklist:

    1. Type name: provide a name that starts with a character and does not contain spaces or special characters.  Please note that the Generated Node Type has to work like a class definition and its naming is subject to the same rules that apply to naming classes, variables, or functions.
    2. Select Input Properties so that there is at least one entry in the list of Input Properties.
    3. Output Properties: nodes downstream of the node(s) in the Input Properties list will automatically populate the Output Properties list.
    4. [Optional] Select your reference for storing the generated assembly file.

The OK button should activate after 3.

To help you further, please post a screen capture of the GNT dialog in this thread or send it to me at Volker.Mueller@bentley.com.  I will be able to analyze the issue even better if you also include the GC model from which you are attempting to generated the GNT.
