Is there anyway of getting a Line or Curve by Plane Polygon intersection without converting the polygon into a surface? It currently seems like there are not as many features to use with a polygon as there are with surfaces. If there isn't a way of doing this then I would really like this to be a feature request.

I actually want this feature but with mesh intersection.

The method 'AtCurveCurveIntersection' covers most of the above, Curve being a generalized term including all of the objects listed in the pop-up shown below:
The method 'AtCurveSurfaceIntersection' works with b-spline sufaces
A b-spline surface can be created from a mesh, so that could give you a valid process?

Thanks Marc, I will give that a go and let you know. The mesh is a an entire road (many km's) hopefully it does it OK.
Glad to help, could I suggest that you experiment with a short section of the road while you arrive at the technique?
