Hi All,
We are currently investigating placing an image on an acoustic panel. We were intending to use 7 different hole diameters to create the pattern.
We have broken the image down to a simple grey tonal range and now would like to draw a grid and in each grid box analysis what colour is dominate then place a circle at the centre of the grid box.
Do you think this is something we can use GC for?
Thanks
Wayne
Hi Wayne,
Yes, there is an add-in that is built based on the sample project which is available for extending GenerativeComponents: https://communities.bentley.com/products/products_generativecomponents/w/generative_components_community_wiki/6148/image-uvsampler.
This will need to be built for specific versions of GenerativeComponents. I'll see whether I can update the C# project for CONNECT Edition and then make it available as an addition to that same Wiki post.
Regards,
Volker

I think your "7 holes picture problem" could not be problem at all just to set up right parametres from picture
if you want you can send to me a picture to brainstorm about
have a nice day
