Hi All,
I am receiving this error while opening a file. Can someone advice please.
Thanks,
Anjum
Hi Anjum,
This message is presented by the .NET Framework. "key" refers to a token in a look-up process. GenerativeComponents uses several dictionaries; therefore, it is difficult to tell what causes this alert.
What happens when you click OK? Is GC continuing to proceed with opening the file as expected?
The file seems to be an older version file. This may have to do with what you encounter. Is this alert occurring every time you open any file, or only when opening specific files?
Volker
Hi Volker,
When I click OK the file does not open completely. only view window appears. no graphs, no node and transaction windows.
yes it is appearing with this file only ,my other files do not have this issue.
I would like to accept that i am not knowing significance and complete use of different datasets, worksets and workspace which appears on the first screen while we open GC. I believe that their will be a bentley online tutorial to understand this. could you please let me know which is that.
I know this is your TIM project. I got this dataset from Jimmy Lau 3 years ago when he came to Singapore in Bentley seminar from Hongkong. During that time I was using V8i SS6 version of GC. But I had not used it for long time.
But now i am doing research work on producing a tunnel model using computational softwares. GC connect edition is helpful alot to me and i am learning alot by online videos and SIG workshops. I was referring your this dataset which was with me from past 3 years. But now my GC version is not SS6, it is now Connect edition and while opening this dataset file using NM dataset , i am receiving data validation and missing key errors. My other GC files are working perfectly (fyi only)
As i know, there is no GC consultant present here local.
Hope you can assist me to go on further.
Regards,
OK, makes sense.
I'll get an updated version to you that you can plug into a neutral metric work set in CONNECT Edition.
Thanks Volker,
I would be waiting for your respsonse.
I have sent the files in a separate message to your e-mail address.
Yes, I received it. Thanks alot.
I will go through it.
