How to cut the connecting structure shape with Generative Components Node?

Hi all,

Recently, I am trying to use Generative Components to parametrically create structure by using the StructuralMember Node.

I have 2 questions below:

1 . With the OBD Structural placement tool, and Coping Option, the Structure could be cut nicely. But with GC StructuralMember Node, I do not find the relevant options to cut structure shape. How to cut connecting structure shape with GC Node?

2 . Even it is a simple GC model, I find the GC update 5 is little bit lower performance, especially when the building GC Node is selected, my mouse cursor can not be moved fluently, as if the mouse cursor gets stuck, it gets right 2 seconds later.
