Help with GC: getting the configuration manager back

It's certainly worth a try!  Shyness isn't always easy to overcome.    ;-)

Thanks Steve, thanks!, i'll give it a try. But i've found it: i just drag the right vertical edge of the program's window and grab the configuration manager, it's just a shy GUI window, let's see if it solved the problem.

I can't say for sure that this is the answer, but it's worth a try... 

Browse to the C:\Documents and Settings\user.name\Local Settings\Application Data\Bentley\MicroStation\8.xx\randomcharactershere\prefs folder, and remame the file GC.docking.xml.  Now restart GC.  Any difference?  If not, go back to that location and rename GC.upf as well.
