While I'm aware there are tools for aligning Nodes placed in the graph, I think it would be really handy to have a grid system to help organise nodes.
I don't think it needs to be an explicit grid, but perhaps just a user adjustable, rounding factor that can be applied to the Nodes location. It would be nice if this feature was effective while placing/moving the nodes individually, but could be implemented in a button tool similar to the "Record Locations" tool.
I would also like to see some sort of fencing/outlining tool to to help coral/show logical blocks of assembled nodes in the graph.
I appreciate Colour & Transactions can be used to do this kind of thing, but because you tend to step through the Transactions and add/remove nodes, perhaps there could be a Meta-Transaction to help with exposition. When the graph gets busy it would be useful to add "comments" to the graph.

Hi Rob
These suggests sound great and tie in nicely with some other recent suggestions on the graph, which became enhancements. As Anik mentions if you could formalise it by the way of a ticket that would be the best first task.

Done. 2 separate tickets.
