I am bringing in a cell then I am using solid / from elements in cell to convert back to solids and then perform a Boolean operation to get my preferred outcome. I know that if the cell consists of only one solid it all works ok, but if the cell contains two separate solids (both solids are next to each other) I get an error :no elements of appropriate type within range? does anyone have any comments on this?
Hello RIchard,
When i am trying to do as you have mentioned i can easily get the solids to have a boolean operation. Please see the attached image. Also i am attaching the files so that you can have a look at them.

what I meant was to bring in only one cell node with two individual solids in that cell node, then Boolean from that one cell node. what you have done is bring in two separate cell nodes and Boolean from each other? is that correct?
Hello Richard,
yes, what i have done is i have brought 2 separate cell nodes and then made them solid using the From elements in Cell and then have done the boolean operation.
Also, what you are saying is also possible. In the image below you can see that i have only used one cell node and in that cel file i have 2 different solids which are overlapping one another. I then again made them solid solid using the From elements in Cell and then used the boolean operation on them. It is working as it should be. I hope this helps with your query.
