If it works with the facets great. IFC2x3 will facet those curves. If you can get the object in IFC4 or a DWG the quality might be better. If not and the facets make things tricky you could re run the profile along some of the strings.

Thanks a lot, and that meshy looking thing is coming from Revit as IFC file

Hello Christiaan,

I hope you are doing fine.

You have to extract a surface from the solid in which you need to project. Then you can project the curve on the extracted surface. Finally you an loft between two curves to create the surface.

Yes, but you will need to extract the surface you want to project on first and if that meshy looking element is your solid, it might not be so nice.

Attached is a DGN done with OpenBuildings Update 7. Also GCT if this is not version friendly.
