Have recently updated to GC update 7, previous version was update 2. however i do not seem to be able to import my previously created GNT files in the package importer. Is there an issue with previous GNT files? Thanks
Hello Fintan,
We have not faced any issue like this. But there have been few changes in GC for Update 7, so possibly it would be worth looking at your previously created GNT. Can you please share the GNT with us? It will be helpful for investigation.

Hi Aliruf Mandal,
I am facing the same problem, I can load GNT Lib file in Update 6 but with update 7 I am unable to load the file. Also, I had few nodes where I am defining LineStyleName = 'STYLE_ByLevel', it used to work with update 6 but I get an error running the same script in update 7 so I have to remove 'STYLE_ByLevel', is there any way to define LineStyleName by level in update 7??
I have attached GNT Lib file for your reference.

Hey Jaimin,
Do you have the dgn file or the GCT file which you have created in update 6. There are few changes from update 6 to update 7. It will be easier for me to trouble shoot the issue.

Hello Jaimin,
yes i can see that the GNT is not getting in OBD update 7. Already have reported that to the developer. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next release.

Regarding the LineStyleName = 'STYLE_ByLevel', 'STYLE_ByLevel' is no longer a valid line style name in MicroStation / OBD.So that is the reason it was throwing the error. For upcoming versions if there is anything with that lifestyle it will be automatically replaced by an empty string.
Hi Alifur,
I figured out, in the current version (Update 7), if have LineStyleName = '' , it works fine, it picks up line style by level. Just a suggestion, for the upcoming version, rather than replacing it with the empty string you may use ''.
Well for upcoming version, if you have a code in update 6 and you have the LineStyleName is defined as Style_ByLevel, then when you run the script in update 8, this time it will not throw any error, That Style_ByLevel will replace as ''.
