OBD doesn't have Computational Design

Hi

I want to install GC, and my OBD version is 10.08.00.44.  From the post by  , it's supposed to be an intergrated feature, but I can't find it anywhere

  • Hello Junqing,

While installing OpenBuildings Designer, in the installation page, you will notice a section called Companion Feature. In there you need to tick Generative Components  while installing. Refer to the below image.

You can also check if its installed by going to the control panel & changing the Installer. If you see its toggled on, then it means its already installed.

then Please search for OpenBuildings Generative Components in the Windows search. It should be a Cyan color icon saying generative Components. Launch with that shortcut and you will be able to get the Computational Design as workflow.

    I hope this helps you.
