Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone knows where new script functions are stored?
Regards,
Josh Kerry
Hello Josh,
The newly created functions can be stored as a GCP file in your local machine. After creating a new function, you need to go to the model section from the ribbon, there you will find an option call Packager. From there save the functions as GCP format. See the below image. Otherwise the functions are stored in individual sessions only.
I hope this helps you.

Thanks Alifur for the quick response.
So they are stored under the dgn file unless you export as a GCP file?
Yes they are stored in the dgn file. The reason saving the function in GCP file is that you will be able to use the same function multiple times in different worksets, workspaces.
Thanks Alifur,
I some how managed to copy over my local file after my computer crashed and opened the file again from Projectwise without checking in, Was hoping I could restore it somehow, or possibly have it stored elsewhere.
looks like ill be rewriting them.
Josh
If the transactions related to function creation were saved before the crash, then you can find that in the GCT files, possibly from there you can copy & create the functions back in and this time save it as GCP for further uses. I have created a wiki regarding the use of Packager. Please have a look at that to get the workflow.
