Hi,
do you know any work flow how to get polygon around external 3D model? I mean that I have a rail external file, and I want to draw a boundary for example in 50m offset from lines. Is it possible?
Hey Adrian,
If you can share the file with me then i can give that a try to look whether it is possible or not? there are some techniques to create offset from geometry.

I've had an idea to flat curves, then model corridors using BSplineSurface, then transform Surfaces to Solids and after that by SolidUnion connect everything to one Solid - from one solid it should be easy to take a boundary.
Flatting curves works perfectly:
Modeling corridors was very easy:Transforming to Solids (BySurfaceCapping) got an issue - it lost a lot of corridors:
Connection Solids into one Solid (SolidUnion) doesn't work - "Internal error":I have no idea why this workflow doesn't work.

Can you please right click on the solid2 node & then switch replication too see whether that is helping to create the other corridors?

When its coming as an internal error, that means the operation is not working properly.
