The solids node is driving me nuts. I had it running fine yesterday with solids by "BetweenRelatedSurfaces". Today, that option no longer works and just says "Internal Error". I have seen suggestions of lofting surfaces then use the "BySurfaceCapping" but I get the same "Internal Error".
Anyone have suggestions? If I export the lofted surface I can then open that output and turn it into a Smart Solid in OBD, not sure what process GC is trying to run but it is struggling.
Hello Alex,
When there is an Internal Error coming up that means the Solid node is not able to perform the operation you are trying to achieve. Try to check the inputs on the solid node.

Hey Alifur,
As always, thanks for your quick reply. After many hours of trying alternate ways, I finally figured out what was going wrong. My file crashed and got corrupted. I recovered the file from a backup and it seems that the backup changes the working/solids working area. That is why the solid tool stopped working.
Is that normal for the backup files to change the working cube/solids area?
I returned the cube back to normal size and solids nodes started working again.
Cheers,
Alex
