I've just installed ver 08.11.08.228 (extension) on opening a dgn I get this error, but the file opens. Trying to place use GC element forces the program to close - attached is the error log.
any ideas?
Did you see the baseCS after you "opening a dgn I get this error, but the file opens" or just the active plane?
No baseCS just a blank workplane.

just made a check: switched back to 08.11.07.78 and everything works fine
And another check: I tried a clean install of .443 (not like before an update over .171)
and then installed GC .228 and it works

TSG said it was something to do with my seed file, but I still get the error. When I get a chance I'll do a complete re-install. I've got too many beta installs getting in the way.... Thanks
That might be theproblem. Installation of both 8.11.8.228 Extension and 8.11.7.78 (SS2 Extension) on 8.11.7.443 will cause unexpected dll mismatch. Try a clean installation.
