MDL: extract and save subimage from georeferenced raster

Hi, Is it possible using MDL in Microstation V8i, to extract and save a subimage as a file from a georeferenced raster file (keeping same georeferencing parameters)?

I found mdlRaster_fileExport but the function exports the whole raster and doesn't give the possibility to extract a subimage.

I have also tried mdlRaster_bitmapGet but didn't find how to save the extracted subimage bitmap as a georeferenced raster file.
