Hi All, is there a programmatic (vba, keyin, anything) way to remove a material assigned to a level?
Or unload all material palettes? I can unload them with the 'material unload material_name' keying, but I'm not sure how to iterate through the palettes to get there names.
I just need to get rid of every material in the files. They are assigned by level.
Hi Michael,
please be aware this is general Developers and Programming forum. Because your question is probably about MicroStation (I do not see any information about used product), I recommend to move your question to MicroStation Programming forum.
To move existing discussion to another forum, use More > Move tool, available under your original post.
Also, please follow the best practices and specify used product and its version exactly, preferably using standardized subject format.

In my opinion to remove the level material, C++ or NET API must be used. I am not aware of such functionality in VBA.

Maybe to ask in visualization forum helps to discuss whether any non-programming solution exists.

Thanks Jan, I can't see any way either, unfortunately I'm not familiar with the NET API yet (it's on my todo list).
The request isn't related to Microstation. A solution in OpenBuildings, OpenPlant, ISO Manager, Raceways, or Prostructures would work. Unfortunately for the users they all fall under my administration hahah.

In my opinion the question is related to MicroStation. Maybe better to say it's "PowerPlatform question" , because the visualization features are shared by all power products (MicroStation, ORD, OBD...). It's the reason why I recommended to move the question, because this forum is not widely known and used, whereas in Visualization forum, there are many skilled people .
