Hi
Have just got a new PC and trying to rebuilt the MDL programming environment. For that I use the hand out from the Workshop in Philadelphia 2011. I have VS2013 installed as standard programming platform.
The hand out states that there must be a Registry setting of VS7CoomenBinDir that shall match the value environment variable VS which for VS2013 is :
C:\Users\ew>set vsVS110COMNTOOLS=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\Tools\
VS120COMNTOOLS=C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\Tools\
VSEDEFLOGDIR=C:\ProgramData\McAfee\DesktopProtection
But in the Registry there are no VS sektion
Can I just include the missing sektion and keys in tthe Registry or do I have to install an old version af Visual Studio f. i. VS2005 ?
