The below given keyin works in MicrostationV8i. But the same not works in MicrostationV8; is there anyother equivalent keyin available?

of course it cannot work, because display styles were introduced in MicroStation V8 XM Edition. Older versions have not such feature. You can use Rendering View Attributes to define how the view will be displayed, but the result will be different.
The proper key-in is SET VIEW <rendering method>, but the view has to be selected by key-in.
BTW How this question relates to VBA development?

The point that Jan is making is that you are simulating user input using CadInputQueue.SendKeyin. You can eliminate VBA as the source of the problem simply by keying-in the command manually. You can read the message that MicroStation produces to find that the command is unknown.
