Once a file is open I would like to be able to have VBA code to Re-save the file name to a pre-determined file name and directory. It is basically needed to run in a batch process to re-save the file to a new path and file name.

Lookup 'Events' in VBA help. The OnDesignFileOpened event occurs when a design file is opened. It provides the name of the DGN file just opened.
