Bisector between two lines

Hi all,

Does anyone have an example to draw a bisector between two lines?

  • Hi,

you can try this, it works for lines that have no real intersection:

    1. Start Construct Angle Bisector (key-in construct bisector angle).
    2. Identify (snap) the 1st point (angle leg).
    3. Switch to intersection snap mode.
    4. Snap one line with "old style snap" with right+left mouse buttons.
    5. Go over the 2nd line, the virtual intersection is found and displayed, accept it. This way you set the angle vertex.
    6. Identify (snap) the 3rd point (second angle leg)

Of course if you need to draw angle bisector for lines with existing intersection, basic functionality of Construct Angle Bisector is enough.
