How do we attach geo-tagged images (lat/long) to our linear network?

We are in the process of photographing / geo-tagging our organisations road defects using a 3rd party solution. Each image taken captures the defects position using GPS - attribute data is also collected at the scene and associated to the image. These images are being used in other deaprtments for claims and repairs but we are very keen to import the images and metadata into EXOR using a .csv file (linking the record to the images using a hyperlink). We want to be able to snap the record to the correct / appromimate location on our linear network. (All defects will be new events and do not already appear in EXOR) Does anybody have any experience of this situation? Is there a solution? ED

I'm not sure about the EXOR part but if you want to locate your pictures in MicroStation using VBA you could check check this thread :

Note that if your image are already contained geo-reference information (e.g. : GeoTIFF) or is accompanied by a file containing the geo-reference and supported by MicroStation (e.g. : world file, ers file, hgr file) then the positioning of the picture will be done automatically.

Finally note that MicroStation is currently not supporting localization of picture from EXIF GPS tags.

Thanks Mathieu - the problem is that EXOR network manager describes our road network in a linear fashion ( i.e. nodes and links with no reference to the gps coordinates captured when surveying with our tablets)

I can seem to find a answer in any of the other threads
