How to change the Level Number using VBA?

Hi Karthik,

check MicroStation VBA help file, especially Number property of Level object.

The question is why do you need to work with level numbers? They are treated as obsolete and are maintained mostly because of a backward compatibility. In newer MicroStation versions (I guess it happened in XM Edition or the first V8i version) the level numbers were replaced by "auto-generated numbers" and if you want to have former numbers back, you have to use a specific configuration variable.

My client give more important only on the level number not levels that is the reason i am work with level number.

If the customer wants it, no other way then to accept it. But it's pretty bad decision which I guess can bring more troubles in future. In V8i no numbers are displayed for newly created levels so if any application relies on it, it has to be resistent against levels without a number.
