V8i VBA - compare element geometry

I'm looking for the best way to compare geometry (nonidentical) objects. For example, the line is the same if the starting and ending points match (or vice versa), attributes such as color, linestyle, etc. are irrelevant. But how to easily compare types such as arc, ellipse or curve?

there is no geometry comparer implemented in VBA. In my opinion there are two options:

To use VBA wrapper of mdlElmdscr_areIdenticalToTolerance MDL function. Jon Summers wrote useful summary/tutorial how to use this function.

To implement own geometry comparer. It's more complex way, but in some specific situations can be better ... but I think it's not this case and VBA is not proper tool to implement such code.
