Is there a way to disable a file being added to the recent file list in Connect?

This is Bentley Service Request 7000423756. I'm not aware of a defect report for it though. Can anyone at Bentley give us a status update on this? Any hope if it being fixed? Thanks!

I checked this SR and don't find a Defect attached with it. Maybe you can use a workaround to overcome this inconvenience.
Creating a temporary workset, open all your temporary files in this workset.

Thank you, YongAn. Could you please write or ask someone to write a Defect Report for it? I don't know why that didn't happen when we logged the SR in the first place back in November.

CONNECT Edition changes the behavior of mdlSystem_newDesignFile. So it is hard to say this is a defect because some others maybe like to add all opened files into MRU file list. I am investigating if we have a workaround to meet your requirement. When I have done, I will post my solution here.
