It seems that classes PickListLibrary and PickList are no longer public?!
Bentley has changed this functionality betweeen Update 7, 8 and now removed it altogether it seems. Can anyone explain if it has been replaced with something else or just removed?

I see no sign of them in the MicroStation documentation. There were one or two mentions in the Update 8 docs, but they've gone.

They where introduced in U7, changed slightly in U8 and now seems to be missing in U9.
The API where very easy to use eventhough it only worked for string properties but still very useful. When definied they worked for editing properties in the Property dialog and the Edit Item dialog. I would very much like to have them back again.
I build some quite nice functionality based on that API: https://youtu.be/0uwwUuuSKYk

Nice video! It looks like you're querying a database (Oracle) to create a Picklist?

Me too! In their absence I created my own ValueList, but of course that doesn't appear in MicroStation's user interface for Item Types.
Thanks!
The PickLists are a part of the FDO Reader, an addin to read and edit data from different spatial data sources, including Oracle.

Hi Krister,
Let me check into the state/status of this API feature, access level, and status/future availability. Once I get some additional clarification I will update you with more details.
Thank you,Bob
PickList APIs are currently a Technology Preview Feature as opposed to being fully published as a "released feature" and should be considered a work in progress. PickList APIs once stabilized *should* become available again soon. Additional type support is being considered; like Integer and Numeric types; though these may become available a bit further out. We are certainly glad to see your early adoption and excitement over this new feature area of the APIs and we hope to make this available again for you very soon.

Thanks for you answer. Lets hope for short release cycles!
MicroStation CONNECT and SDKs have strived to continue to release quarterly updates; approximately every 3 months.
I have updated the response above to help explain and set expectations on this relatively new term "Technology Preview Feature" effectively replacing the prior Early Access Programs (EAP).
