We started to use Map Powerview Connect (v10.01.00.22) and some users have reported tools failing with a System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException error. I believe it happens only at Bentley.Interop.MicrostationDGN.VertexList.GetVertices() but can't be 100% sure. This doesn't happen however with all users.
The same plugin code works for the same users running the full version of Microstation on the same computer. The same plugin code has worked from v8 and v8i, and on full versions, map powerview versions pre-connect, and the full version of Microstation Connect so far (basically it has never failed until now ever).
Is this possibly a bug with the powerview connect installer, where it fails to register some COM classes in some situations?
Is there a fix (regserver?) to solve this issue?
