Looking for some examples of finding an element in the master file then placing a fence for plotting.
A lot of the old basic programming knowledge(books & examples) is hard to find.

Why? MicroStation VBA is superior in so many ways to Basic.
There is abundant documentation, many examples, and lots of people are familiar with VBA. Moreover, VBA continues to be available in MicroStation CONNECT.
