innovocad disappears?

Hello people, do you know if the company Innovocad, developer of the tool "Visual Studio Tools for MicroStation" has closed or disappeared?
Your website does not work, nor does your licensing page work
If so, I have a very big problem to continue working with microstation

Thanks in advance

Kala

Search this Forum for threads that mention InnovoCAD.

I have a very big problem to continue working with microstation

InnovoCad's tools make it easy to start a Viz Studio project for one of MicroStation's APIs, typically C++ or .NET.  It's still possible to work with Viz Studio without InnovoCad.  In fact, many projects can be managed without Viz Studio — just using Bentley make (bmake) and the build tools provided with Viz Studio (by which I mean the compilers and linkers).

If you consider the examples delivered with the SDK, you can build all of them using bmake.  Viz Studio is optional!

  • Kala,

In additional to Jon's always great advice; two additional items that may be of help:

    1. Beginning in 2019  has moved the InnovoCAD project (work in progress still) here: https://github.com/innovocad/
    2. Though not anywhere near as complete, nor to compete with Marty's extensive work and features we do provide some very basic (native and managed) MicroStation CONNECT Visual Studio Templates that you are free to install and try.  Please note these templates rely on you starting "devenv.exe" directly from a MicroStation Developer Shell (running as administrator)

Please note these are InnovoCAD tools are not a Bentley provided tool or product and no direct affiliations between our two companies.

I did check in last month and I need to follow up with Marty to see if/how we (Bentley development) could potentially collaborate (if at all) on his great VSTMC tools in the new GitHub location/repository.

    HTH,
    Bob
