Hey all!I have a question regarding Item types and report.Right now, I assign (attach item) the object types that I have created in the Item types library. Then in the Report I include all my items that I have assigned. To include all my items that I have assigned is a bit boring ... Can't do any setting that causes the program (connect edition Up 12) to automatically include all objects that I have assigned in a Report. And that it should include all object properties that I have in all objects automatically. That is, for me, it is enough to assign object types (attach item) and the program should automatically include all these objects with its information in A Report. That is, I do not want to include any items that I have assigned. I think it is a misunderstanding that I want to print all objects with its information because I have assigned them to objects on my drawing. Can I somehow program this requestthank you so much for all the answers
Why have you posted this question to the Programming Forum? You have a similar question already in the MicroStation Forum.
Please don't double-post!

Hi Jon!
I did not get a good answer where !. And was thinking about taking care of this too. I can imagine that my program may have fixed with programming.
It's clear from your posts in the MicroStation Forum that you don't fully understand Item Types.
Use the tools available in MicroStation to create a single Item Type definition. Create only one definition: you don't need multiple definitions. Then use MicroStation's Item Types Attach tool to attach instances of that Item Type definition to some DGN elements.
Post further questions to the MicroStation Forum.

If you think that your problems will somehow be solved by programming, then you're probably going to end up in a worse mess.
Hi Fadi.....,
Please consider Jon's recommendation to try to get existing Product Workflows to work first. Then know you (or any user) can file a MicroStation Idea (a product enhancement request) that can be reviewed, voted up/down, and if approved implemented in future release so everyone can benefit. Lastly, if you are a capable programmer, then customization via programming is certainly a possibility if the prior two options have been exercised.
Thank you and HTH,Bob
