[Microstation v8i] [VBA] Dimensioning pipes

your question cannot be answered, because it is not clear what 'pipe' is and what 'automation' means to you. Please follow best practices and provide further details like a picture of desired result etc.

In the simplest case, Dimension element tool offers a basic automation, because when used, the dimension is created accordingly to selected style and element type.

Automation means user doesn't do anything except launch the macro...and user obtain dimensions on pipe :-)

We know what a pipe is.  Jan wants you to tell us how you create a pipe in MicroStation.  For some apps, a pipe might be represented by a DGN line element.  For other apps an extruded ellipse or cone element might be needed.  What are the DGN element types in your screenshot?

Is your screenshot from a 2D model or a 3D model — we can't tell?  It's best to post a DGN file rather than a screenshot: we all use MicroStation, and a DGN example let's us understand your question better.
