Hello Bentley community, I want to create a macro or keyboard command to place a favorite text (Microstation Powerdraft CONNECT). I tried to make a macro recording to get the code as usual but nothing to do, the choice of the favorite text does not appear ! I gave up after three hours of research... If you have the solution, I'm ready! Thank you in advance for your precious help. Health for you and your loved ones in this difficult episode. M. BREZELEC C. / A FRENCH USER

The Text Favorite Manager is a Technology Preview at the moment (Spring 2020).
MicroStation help reveals a number of key-ins whose first word is either TEXFAVORITE or TEXTFAVORITE (the documention mentions both spellings).
TEXFAVORITE
TEXTFAVORITE

Please move or repost that question in the MicroStation Forum. It's not related to programming, unless you're writing a macro.
Unfortunately, text fields don't have an API in VBA.
thank-you for your prompt response !
I switch my request. I will wait for the next CONNECT version to try again on the favorite text code.

If you have not reported it using Service Ticket, or you know that Defect number was created on behalf of some other user Service Ticket or of a discussion in some forum, do not expect it will be fixed or enhanced.
I found something that should work:
When you key-in (assigned to icon, function key etc.) will be texteditor place;texteditor addfavorite <favorite name> (e.g. texteditor place;texteditor addfavorite Favorite with spaces, where "Favorite with spaces" is the name from drop-down menu), it should start Place Text tool and to insert the specified favorite to Text Editor dialog without interrupting the placement command.
texteditor place;texteditor addfavorite <favorite name>
texteditor place;texteditor addfavorite Favorite with spaces
