We are using connect edition of Microstation on windows 10 OSI wanted the properties of the elements(see attached image) to be written to a text file or excel sheet. Any help is appreciated. I wanted to see this happen using mVBA.

Be aware there are several i-model formats and versions used, but as long as MicroStation is able to open or reference the file (regardless it is .i.dgn or .imodel), the access to data using API is the same.
Plus, i-model as a term is also used in iTwin.js project / iModelHub, which is not compatible with the original i-model.

There is nothing "to be developed" specifically for iModel, because imodel is always converter directly from DGN (or other format supported by MicroStation). Of course, a knowledge of EC data (or, at least, Item Types as a subset of EC) is required (both technology and API), because it is the only way how to keep data attached to elements in DGN also in imodel.
