These types of issues are the reason why I always, when creating EC classes on-the-fly in code, using good old Bentley Class Editor from V8i SDK, to check, whether schema is correct.
Even though this tool is obsolete, designed for V8i, is still valuable for these types of analysis.

Jan

There is a new version Class Editor in OPM installation. Looks like this.

Thanks for the info. It would be nice to have separate installation, as was in the past, because I have no OpenPlant license available.
Or, is Bentley Class Editor only "packed" into OPM installation? I remember in V8i, both Navigator and MicroStation did not install editor, only extract separate installer, to be ready when needed.

Please confirm the Class Editor file name and location. I just installed OPM. The only relevant file is...
\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\OpenPlantModeler\Default\System\V8i\Config\appl\ClassEditor.cfg
Why is it in folder V8i? Is Class Editor an app. that is part of OPM, and not a separate executable?
V8i
FWIW I was able to download and install OPM from the software downloads site. I don't have an OPM license either.

As Robert Hook's link tells us, the Class Editor is delivered with OpenPlant Administrator (OPA), not OpenPlant Manager (OPM)...
However,
1 The documentation reflects a previous era
2 It appears bound in some way to the OPA installation. I can't copy it to its own folder and run it from there.
Request to Forum moderator (Robert Hook?). Can you split this topic — at Jan's post on 13 Jan 2022 6:34 — so that the Class Editor appears in its own thread?
Jon Summers,
I split your suggested content from the original post to this post (renaming subject for clarity) and hope this is close enough to what you requested; though I do not see my last response included here, so snipped and posted below for convenience/solution for this thread.

Suggested (Answer to this thread) Content From Original Post not transferred during Split:
Hi All (Yongan.Fu, Jan Šlegr and Jon Summers),
I added a topic: CONNECT APIs > EC > Class Editors (anchor) in hope to provide the most current information/links available with respect to Bentley BIS and Custom Schema management (products, services and references).
Please let me know of any other suggestions to help further improve this topic's navigation to related information/references.
