Hi ,
I'm writing an application that uses a camera that is modified (oriented) through user interaction, using mdlView_SetCameraParameters.
So far so good, but by default focal plane is always perpendicular to camera axis, and I need to orient it as required. Is there any way to orient focal plane as needed? In Microstation help it's shown as "One point projection", but I was not able to find anything in the Microstation API doc to achieve this.
Thanks in advance and best regards
HI Oscar,
because your question is about MicroStation API and this is general "developers and programming" forum, I recommend to move it to MicroStation Programming forum.
To move existing discussion to another forum, use More > Move tool, available under your original post.

May I ask, why when code is written for MicroStation CE with C++ OOP API, "old" C-style functions are used?

I have no experience with setting the mentioned projection in code, but I recommend to see ViewInfo Struct description in MicroStationAPI help, where 1-point perspectice is mentioned.
With regards,
Jan

Hi Jan,
Many thanks for your answer, and sorry for my delay. Both your advises put me on the right track again and after a couple of weeks struggling, I could solve the problem.
Thanks again
